A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
Terri Lynne Stone knew that she had found her calling in life, when she stepped into a jewelry workshop for the first time. She thought to herself: “Self, I can’t wait to make pretty things.” Three years later, she had completed her diploma in jewellery design and manufacture at Durban University of Technology.
Maiden Stone was officially launched in 2015 during Terri’s second year of her diploma. After graduating, she took a break from all things jewellery and decided to gallivant through Southeast Asia. Returning to Durban in 2019, she picked up where she left off, with a head full of ideas and hands itching to get back into what she loved.
When designing our jewellery, we strive to stay true to our own unique style, which is inspired by the diversity, cultures and beauty of our motherland, South Africa. We truly value unique design and we love all things that are just a little bit different. This is the core design principal of our brand, and we hope that you love it as much as we do!
