Ololade D. Ladipo is
the CEO of L. L. Krafts, Jewelry and Accessories Ltd.
Ololade is a trained Metal Smith,
she is a particularly creative and talented young woman who has found her
passion in the creating of delightfully unique/affordable jewelry and hair
accessories for women.
After years of studying
Architecture in the UK and Ghana, she worked as an architect in Nigeria for 4
years, eventually moving on to fully concentrating and honing her true passion
in Jewelry and Accessories making.
LLK’s products range from every
day costume jewelry to semi-precious stone setting, bead work, bridal jewelry
and accessories, all at competitive prices. LLK also specializes in custom-made
items, made to client specifications.
LLK has participated in a number
of Fashion shows, notable among them are the 2011 Ovation Red Carol Concert,
the Kanekalon Night of a Thousand Braids and The Fashion Designer’s Association
of Nigeria (FADAN) Patron’s Dinner.
In 2012, LLK in collaboration
with Double Portion Ltd, began its inaugural TEEN KRAFTS SUMMER CLASS – a
program designed to introduce youngsters to the art
of craft making. These summer classes are designed to impart key life skills
into the younger generation, with the aim of helping them engage other
strengths they might not have been exposed to in conventional academic
settings. Classes range from beading, sewing, basic fashion design to carpentry
and basic technology crafts skills.
primary focus however is to the creation of weddings and bridal accessories.
