In 2018, a little spark ignited on a social networking platform. We began chatting, connected by our work in Maitama—Hope at a bank and I at a medical equipment firm. While our paths didn’t cross, we maintained our bond through WhatsApp, exchanging compliments like “fine woman” and “fine man” as we admired each other’s statuses.
