Nigeria-born Williams Chechet is an astonishing graphics designer, illustrator and muralist who is responsible for the gorgeous graffiti at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos and most of M.I Abaga's vibrant album covers.
His latest art project, We are the North, is a series of beautiful Northern Nigerian illustrations influenced by pop art – an art movement which involves imagery from popular culture being visually removed from its known context, isolated, and/or combined with unrelated material.
